LOCATION
The College is situated on thirty-five acres in west Arlington, Texas only minutes from Dallas and Fort Worth. The scenic campus isolates the College from the bustle of city life, but is only minutes away from all the conveniences and opportunities of the area.
The region offers good employment opportunities. Houses, apartments, churches, medical facilities, and reputable private and public schools are plentiful.
Seven universities, four major seminaries and several small colleges add many academic opportunities. Excellent libraries, various types of museums, performing arts, and other educational resources are available in the area.
FACILITIES
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING:
The administration building houses the Office of the President, the Business Office, the Registrar's Office, the office of the Academic Dean, the office of the Dean of Students, the cafeteria, the mail service, the bookstore, and the Heritage Collection.
LOUISE OLDHAM RELIGIOUS EDUCATION BUILDING:
Ten classrooms and six faculty offices are located on the two floors of this building.
WAYNE MARTIN FINE ARTS CHAPEL:
This building houses music classrooms, faculty studios and offices, music practice rooms, the Christian Service Director’s office, and the chapel.
ENTZMINGER HALL:
This building, named after College founder Louis Entzminger, houses two large lecture rooms.
J FRANK NORRIS MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM:
This multi-purpose facility, the largest building on campus, has a seating capacity of over 3,000 people, houses a full basketball court, locker rooms, a large stage with adjacent dressing and prop rooms, classrooms and an exercise room.
EARL K OLDHAM LIBRARY:
The Library's unique design and modern furnishings accommodate research, study, and/or leisure reading. The Library’s collection is completely automated and includes over 30,000 volumes of printed material; as well as, audio, video, and electronic media. The library offers a student fellowship area for group discussions or conversation. The Library’s second floor offers three audio-visual rooms, a seminar room that can easily seat 80, a conference room, and a computer lab. The services available at the library include Internet research, photocopying, printing, and/or laminating. The Library strives daily to provide a pleasant enjoyable atmosphere which is student friendly.
STUDENT UNION BUILDING:
The Student Union Building provides a place for students to gather for fun, food, and fellowship. Located in the heart of the campus, the S.U.B. is also a place where students can go to study or just to relax and meet friends. It serves as the meeting place for almost all of the college’s special interest groups including Student Government, L.I.F.T. (Ladies in Fellowship Training), The 4:12 Group, the Student Missionary Prayer Group and others.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BUILDING:
This building houses a portion of the heritage collection of photographs, historical documents, and artifacts displaying the history of Arlington Baptist College, the World Baptist Fellowship, and the World Baptist Fellowship Mission Agency.
THE LILLIAN NORRIS HALL FOR WOMEN AND THE TOMMY MASTERS HALL FOR MEN:
These two halls provide supervised residence for 150 students in semi-private rooms housing two students each. Two such rooms make up a suite sharing bath facilities. The rooms are comfortably furnished to provide a home-like atmosphere. Lounges, vending machines, and a laundry facility complete the available services.
WORLD BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP MISSION OFFICE:
This building, located near the campus entrance, houses the offices of the World Baptist Fellowship Mission Agency. Its location on the College campus provides a close link between the work of the Mission Agency and the Missions training program of the College.
