The student is involved in a detailed study of the church including: its nature and function, its officers, its ordinances, and its place in God’s plan. Various views of the nature of the church are given and the local church view is supported. The means of carrying out the church’s mission are surveyed. Articles 13 and 14 of the Statement of Faith are explained.
